Mechanism

Whey protein isolate (WPI) provides a rapidly digested, complete protein (~90-95% protein by weight) with the highest leucine content (~11% by weight) of any protein source. Leucine activates mTORC1 via Sestrin2 sensor, initiating translation and muscle protein synthesis (MPS).
