Supplements

Mechanism

Proteolytic enzyme complex from pineapple stems. Anti-inflammatory via modulation of prostaglandin synthesis, fibrinolytic, and anti-edematous. Degrades fibrin and reduces blood viscosity. Enhances absorption of other supplements (particularly quercetin and curcumin).

Contraindications

  • Pineapple allergy
  • Pre-surgery (bleeding risk)
  • Active bleeding

Mechanism

Phospholipid concentrated in brain cell membranes. Supports neurotransmitter production (acetylcholine, dopamine), cortisol regulation, and membrane fluidity. Improves cognitive function, reduces exercise-induced cortisol, and supports HPA axis recovery.

Contraindications

  • Soy allergy (if soy-derived — use sunflower-derived instead)
